It’s Spring and every day is full of chores and projects, cleaning up from Winter and preparing for Summer.
Spring is really my favorite season, second only to Fall. I don’t care much for heat or cold .
Just give me the warm, breezy in-between days where I can get outside and really get some things done.
In the summer, if I need to take care of the garden or the chickens, or any yard work, I better get an early start because around ten o’clock I’m heading inside out of the heat.
Yesterday I did the big spring-cleaning of the chicken house and that’s a project that really would not be fun in the heat. It feels so good to get that done and my hens have been giving me plenty of pretty eggs to show their appreciation.
I hope your Spring chores are going well and please don’t wear yourself out. Anything we don’t get done today will be there tomorrow.
